Anyone who has taken part in marketed tax avoidance schemes currently under enquiry do have the option of settling their case with HMRC. Therefore the case will not necessarily be taken to the stage of litigation.

HMRC will be publishing a list of schemes which will be subjected to accelerated payment measures.
