Client Manager (Qualified Accountant)

Due to continued growth we have a vacancy for a Client Manager, looking after the accountancy needs of a portfolio of clients.

You could be anywhere in the UK and anywhere in your accountancy career.  You may be newly qualified wanting a fast track to a first client portfolio role; right through to potential partner level looking for a fresh independent start.  Work and salary expectations can be matched to your experience.

About the role
You will take on a portfolio of existing clients with full support and availability of all individuals currently dealing with those clients.
You will track and prepare those clients’ accounts, tax computations, personal tax returns, VAT returns and quarterly management accounts.
You will hold online meetings with the business owners and liaise with them giving them email and telephone support throughout the year.
You will also speak to prospective clients and build your portfolio of clients.
You will not need to be involved with internal accounts of the firm, employment issues, training, systems or marketing.  All of these matters are handled well centrally.
You will be working from home or a serviced office at a location of your choice.
You will be provided with a fully working three screen computer and telephone set up, fully connected with all systems used by the firm.
Salary commensurate with market levels for experience (£35000 to £50000).  Possible optional equity opportunities over time.

About the person
First and foremost you will be very enthused by what you have read above!  We feel this role is a great opportunity and should be a great fit to the right individual.
Qualified accountant (ACCA or ACA)
At least five years of recent experience (can include trainee years) of working with SMEs in an accounting firm preparing small company accounts and tax and supporting clients in all related matters.
Can be based anywhere in the UK – home working or potentially we will fund a serviced office locally to you.
Hours can be flexible around agreed core hours.
Full time or near full time role.
We expect a high level of accuracy and pride in providing quality work.
We will provide a high level of support, including daily team chats (MS teams) as well as ongoing training in any areas in need of brushing up.
