Data review
By providing us with your spreadsheets or accounting software data file on a regular basis you can be sure you will have the very best up to date accounting information.  Our checks include all basic accounting checks, data errors and, most importantly, exceptions or anomalies.  For example, our system will highlight if a payment to a particular supplier has been analysed to a different cost heading from its usual one.  All of the main accounts are carefully checked including bank accounts, sales, purchase, VAT and payroll controls, director’s loan accounts and year end reserve figures.

By having your data checked either monthly or quarterly, you (and we) can be confident there will not be major problems at the year end.   For each data review or set of management accounts carried out during the year we discount your annual accounts fee by 5% (to a maximum discount of 30%).

VAT returns
Our VAT return process includes a procedure that checks for certain errors such as failing to claim input tax when it is due.  We prepare the VAT return figures and confirm them with you.  We then file the return online, so you don’t have to.  We guarantee to prepare your VAT return within 5 working days of receiving your information.

If your turnover is under the threshold for the VAT Flat Rate Scheme (currently £150,000) we will check for you whether you will benefit from joining the scheme.

Payroll
We can provide an accurate and prompt payroll service whether you are a single director wishing to be paid a regular salary, or a small business with many employees, lots of changes of hours and lots of leavers.  We will arrange with you a template for you to provide the details to us.  We then prepare your payroll, forward to you for approval and make all relevant filling.  We guarantee to prepare your payroll figures within 5 working days of receiving your information, usually much quicker than that.

Dividends
If you are running a limited company we will include in our monthly or quarterly checking confirmation with you of your dividend position.  Where needed we will prepare all dividend vouchers and minutes of director’s meetings for you approval. 

CIS bureau service
If you are operating a construction industry scheme we will be happy to process the figures and paperwork for you.  As with payroll services, we agree a format for the information and ensure you are fully up to date at all times.
